Tea presents can be so useful: With this fine, authentic organic black tea from Assam you don't just give full-bodied, malty-soft enjoyment, but also do something to protect the last one-horned rhinos in India! By the way: The strong Assam tastes delicious with a dash of rum candy!
Rhino Project of TeaGschwendner and NABU
The Indian one-horned rhinoceros lives in the foothills of the Himalaya in Nepal and India. Its deep deep folds give the rhinoceros the impression of wearing armour. Yet this armour is not able to protect the Indian heavyweights from the loss of their natural environment and from poaching for their horn, which can be sold illegally for high prices. Due to brutal poaching and illegal trade the last remaining 3.500 animals are facing extinction.
TeaGschwendner and NABU (Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V., engl. "Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union") are taking up protective measures to ensure the survival of the Indian rhinoceros in its stronghold in the state of Assam, especially the Kaziranga national park. Part of the project is the active struggle against poaching. By Buying our Rhino-Tea you are not only enjoying high-quality black tea but also supporting NABU projects for the conservation of nature and environment in India: For each package of Assam GFBOP Kaziranga Second Flush tea sold, € 1 goes to the NABU.
